L'accent scouse est en fait, le mélange de tous les différents accents et dialectes irlandais et gallois qui se sont instalées à Liverpool au cours du XIXè siècle, pour rendre un son, parfois incompréhenssible pour les personnes étrangères et qui l'a rendu, unique.
Le mot scouse lui, du nom entier Lobscouse, serait une recette, plutôt qu'un dialecte.
